About Double Pump and the Pump-N-Run Program
Utah Pump-N-Run is directly affiliated with Double Pump, Inc. (www.doublepump.com), which is headquartered in Westwood, CA. Double Pump was founded in 1989 by brothers Dana and David Pump. The "Pumps" have forged a strong network of relationships with university athletic directors, college coaches and the youth basketball community. Recognized as the leader in service-based products that specifically target high school, college athletics and the grassroots sports industry, Double Pump is known to bring together the best talent and industry leaders at all of their events.
The brother's ventures include Camps, where a special focus on individual instruction is maintained, and tournaments, where the nations top traveling basketball teams and players compete in front of college coaches and recruiters. Double Pump's Basketball Camps and Tournaments have built a tremendous following and respect among the nation's top coaches, administrators and athletic industry executives. Double Pump's Collegiate Business Services tap into this powerful network to provide recruiting, consulting, marketing and fundraising opportunities.
The Pumps are widely viewed as two of the most powerful and influential people in youth and college basketball. They have been recognized on several occasions by The Sporting News as two of the "100 Most Influential People in Sports." Double Pump also founded the Harold Pump Foundation, in 1999, to raise money for cancer research. Since its inception, the foundation has donated in excess of $2.5M to Northridge Hospital, its major benefactor.
