As a member of Utah Pump-N-Run, you will be expected to honor the following requirements to maintain eligibility for participation:

Academic

  1. Maintain a GPA that meets minimum college entrance requirements or higher.
  2. Maintain "satisfactory" or above in-class citizenship.
  3. Demonstrate that you are meeting NCAA core course requirements.

  1. Attendance at all Utah Pump-N-Run activities, practices, and tournament events unless sufficient notice is given to your coach.
  2. Abstinence from any illegal substance, tobacco and alcohol.
  3. Maintenance of high standards for personal grooming and dress.
  4. Compliance with NCAA recruiting guidelines and practices.
  5. Demonstration through ability and effort that you have what it takes to play NCAA caliber basketball.

Financial

Utah Pump-N-Run players and their families will be asked to pay a portion of the cost for transportation, lodging, tournament entry fees, court rental fees and minimal coaching fees during the season. This "participation/commitment fee" may be modified in cases of financial hardship. Players will also be provided support materials for the "Pump-N-Run Challenge" fundraising event, which is an effective means to help defray some of the costs of funding a successful program. This investment will also ensure that you and your family are committed to Utah Pump-N-Run. Utah Pump-N-Run will invest a significant amount of time and money on behalf of all players throughout the season to assist them in achieving their goals. This will be done through generous donations made by individuals within and outside the organization, as well as through corporate sponsorships.

Deference to High School Program

Under no circumstances will you be required to participate in practices or games that are in direct conflict with any activities scheduled by your high school coach on behalf of your local high school basketball team. Your high school basketball team should remain your #1 basketball priority.
