The AAU, working with the NCAA and other private organizations, has established specific times and locations for tournament events that attract the very best players in the country. To compete for scholarships, Utah Pump-N-Run and its players need to be "in the game", playing in venues where the very best meet to compete.
College coaches in Utah have expressed the fact that in-state competition is no longer a complete training ground for a Division I caliber athlete. No matter how good your playing statistics in Utah, you will need to prove yourself against the best players in the nation at "observation" tournaments where more than 1,200 college coaches have the opportunity to watch aspiring players. Our goal is not only to make an appearance in those tournaments that will get you as much exposure as possible, but also to prepare you to excel, compete, and win against the best!
Utah Pump-N-Run is a Club Level 3 Affiliate of The Amateur Athletic Union (AAU) of the U.S. Inc., which has a group 501(c)3 determination letter from the Internal Revenue Service. The Group Exemption Number of the Amateur Athletic Union is 1155. As a Club Level 3 Affiliate organization, Utah Pump-N-Run is recognized as tax-exempt under the AAU of the U.S. Inc.'s group determination ruling.
