Todd Phillips
Coach Todd Phillips is the 16U Red head coach and a member of the Advisory Board for Utah Pump-N-Run basketball where he serves as director of player personnel. In addition, Coach Phillips is currently the head assistant men's basketball coach at Salt Lake Community College where he helped lead the Bruins in 2009 to the Region 18 Championship and the community college's first ever National Championship. Prior to joining the Bruins in 2008, Coach Phillips spent eight years as the assistant men's basketball coach for the Westminster College Griffins, an NAIA Division I school in the heart of Salt Lake City, Utah. There, he was directly responsible for game preparation, recruiting and player development that ultimately helped the Griffins to eight 20-plus-win seasons, six conference titles and six NAIA National Tournament births. Coach Phillips grew up and played high school basketball in Boise Idaho at Borah High School. Following high school he played college ball at Snow College and then went on to play at Lewis-Clark State College in Lewiston, Idaho where he helped guide the Warriors to a conference title. Coach Phillips holds a Bachelor in Education and Kinesiology and a Masters in Higher Education from the University of Utah. |
