Rich PaulRich Paul joined the Utah Pump-N-Run coaching team in 2011 and has helped coach at the 13U and 14U program levels. Coach Paul began his coaching career after graduating from Granite High School in 1991 where he was voted Most Valuable Player on the basketball team. In 1995, he served as a student coach for several junior high school sports programs in Salt Lake City where he built practice plans for individual player and team skill development. Coach Paul was also an assistant coach for the Skyline High School men’s varsity team from 1996-1999. Coach Paul graduated in 1998 from the University of Utah with a Bachelors Degree in Exercise and Sport Science with an emphasis in coaching. After graduating, he has continued to coach teams competing in high school, junior high and elementary youth super leagues. Overall, he has coached players in Salt Lake City, Murray, Sandy and Draper for the past 11 years before joining the Utah Pump-N-Run club program. In addition to his passion for coaching youth basketball, Coach Paul is a successful entrepreneur who started his own company in 1999 and currently lives in Draper with his wife of 18 years and four children. |
