Michael O’Connor
Coach Michael O’Connor is currently serving on the Utah Pump-N-Run Board of Advisors. Working as a player development coach under Utah Pump-N-Run since 2003, Coach O’Connor’s teams have been to five Championship games, eight Final Four’s and several Elite Eight’s and Sweet Sixteen’s in top tournaments throughout the country. Coach O’Connor is a proven winner that has been instrumental in the development of the Utah Pump-N-Run organization and its efforts to promote grassroots basketball in the state of Utah. He has positivity impacted countless players during his 18-year coaching career that included coaching positions at Orem High School in Orem, Utah, where he led the team to a birth in the Utah State 4A Boys Basketball Tournament in 2009, Cerritos College (California), Bellflower High School (California), Mountain View High School (Utah) and Lehi High School (Utah). In addition, Coach O’Connor has several years experience coaching at basketball camps at all levels in California, Utah, Alaska and Minnesota.
Coach O’Connor holds a B.S. and M.A. from Brigham Young University.
