Springville High’s Raul Delgado, a first-team all-state basketball player for the Red Devils last season, has signed to play college basketball for Western Nebraska Community College.

Delgado averaged 18 points per game for Springville his senior season. Russell Beck, a native of Alpine, Utah, just completed his first season as head coach at Western Nebraska CC, which won 19 games last season.

"We are excited to add Raul to our program," said Beck. " We believe that Raul has unlimited potential with his size, athleticism and speed, he already has a Division I body and we expect great things from him this fall."

Beck has also coached at Dixie State, Southern Utah, Salt Lake Community College and the College of Southern Idaho.
